The Affiliation for Computing Equipment (ACM) has made the ACM Digital Library open entry to assist help the computing group through the coronavirus pandemic. Based in 1947, the ACM is the world’s largest scientific and academic computing society and publishes over 50 journals, together with the celebrated Journal of the ACM, and two basic magazines for pc professionals, Communications of the ACM and Queue.
“We consider that ACM may help help analysis, discovery and studying throughout this time of disaster by opening the ACM Digital Library to all,” writes ACM President Cherri Pancake in a letter on ACM.org. “For the subsequent three months, there might be no charges assessed for accessing or downloading work revealed by ACM. We hope this may assist researchers, practitioners and college students keep entry to our publications in addition to rising visibility and consciousness of ACM’s journals, proceedings and magazines.”
